"HANDLE WITH CARE" (2023)

"Handle with Care" is a durational performance staged at Edinburgh University, serving as a powerful form of protest and critique. In this piece, I physically taped myself to a wall, embodying the ways society often renders differently-abled individuals invisible. By positioning myself as both a literal and metaphorical object to be "handled," the performance challenges viewers to confront their own perceptions, behaviors, and biases toward those who experience the world differently. This work invites critical reflection on the societal tendency to overlook or dehumanize individuals, calling for greater visibility, respect, and empathy.
