"A Three-Course 'Dine in the Dark' Experience" (2022)
This immersive event, created in collaboration with fellow intermedia artist Olivia Brown, invited guests to explore the profound connection between scent and perception through a multi-sensory dining experience. Blindfolded participants were led through an olfactory journey, with each course introduced by a "smelly bag" designed to evoke specific scents. The dining setup featured two distinct tables—one presenting pleasant aromas, the other unpleasant—deliberately designed to examine how our sense of smell influences the quality of our experiences. The event culminated in a group discussion where participants shared their reflections on how scent shaped their overall dining experience.
