Community engagement lies at the heart of my artistic practice. Over the years, I have had the privilege of contributing to larger community build projects, fostering creativity and connection. Closer to home, my ongoing work with the Scottish Veterans Residency in Edinburgh is especially meaningful. Through group art support sessions and creative outings, I aim to provide a space for self-expression, healing, and exploration. These projects allow me to merge my passion for art with my commitment to supporting and uplifting the community around me.

STIRLING: COMMUNITY FISHING HUT

At Blairdrummond Safari Park in Stirling, I led the roofing team in constructing a community fishing hut. This project was a collaborative effort to create a welcoming and functional space for local anglers. It was rewarding to bring together craftsmanship and community spirit to build something that will be enjoyed for years to come.

EDINBURGH:
THE SCOTTISH VETERANS RESIDENCY

At the Scottish Veterans Residency in Edinburgh, I lead the creative department, organizing and facilitating group art sessions. These sessions focus on exploring how creativity can support healing and well-being. I also coordinate and lead group outings to creative spaces across Scotland, offering participants inspiration and the chance to connect with art in new and meaningful ways.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE: ROUND-WOOD TIMBER FRAME BUILD

In Gloucestershire, I had the incredible opportunity to work alongside a small group of local builders to construct a traditional roundhouse. Using only hand tools and time-honored carpentry methods, we crafted a unique and sustainable structure. This project was a testament to the power of teamwork and the enduring beauty of traditional techniques.
